Site Engineer – Roads

Nigeria – Our client is a British Managed, progressive and successful contractor with a number of high profile projects within the civil engineering field in Nigeria.They currently have a vacancy for a Civils Site Engineer. The ideal candidate will be a qualified engineer who has gained at least three years proven experience working on major road contracts and have sound knowledge of surveying, the setting out / control of vertical and horizontal alignment. You will also be required to be a team player capable of integrating with and supervising local surveyors and engineers. Design knowledge would also be an advantage as would proficiency in CAD based design software including the development of spreadsheets, programs and schedules. Overseas experience may be an advantage but not essential, as candidates who have achieved success on UK roads are of equal interest.
