Earthworks Supervisor (Roadworks)

Nigeria – A British managed Contractor has an immediate vacancy for an Earthworks Supervisor based in South Nigeria. You will an experienced earthworks supervisor with sound knowledge of earthmoving techniques, formation and subgrade as it relates to road projects. You will also have erosion control measures in respect of soil stabilization and slope protection utilizing various organic and geosynthetic materials. The successful applicant will have gained experience and a proven track record on similar major contracts with recognized companies. The individual must be a team player able to take instruction from project management and co-ordinate with site management/supervisors in the control and movement of plant and equipment for cut & fill operations, general ground works, utility/drainage excavations/backfill and erosion control measures. Adherence to schedule, method statement , specifications are key as all permanent works must be executed to line, level and applicable QA/QC procedures base
